WYLD: Packaging & Printability Breakdown

WYLD has become a leader in the edibles space over the past few years, in part due to their iconic box. It is unapologetically unique, it takes chances, it’s a coffee table flex. We look at this box and we see math. A lot of math. Impressive math aside, there are a few things that could be improved here:

Offset & CMYK

The bluish logo that should have been gray tells us this is probably a digital job, and our theory is backed up by the number of unique flavors WYLD offers. If you can find a printer who does smaller offset runs, we highly recommend switching to offset, running the art as CMYK and having spot colors for things like the logo will really tie the whole thing together.

Front Label

While they did a great job with the quality of the front label, it’s still there and we see no reason why that information couldn’t be printed on the box considering these are gummies.

Continuity

We'd love to see what it would look like if there were some panel-to-panel design continuity. YES, even we shudder to think of what that would be like as the designer but it is possible and it would be really something if they nailed it!

Overall, props to WYLD. We love the look and the brand and hope they continue to thrive!
